State of Mind

State of mind is the difference between strength and weakness, failure or achievement, and even the well-being of our physical state.

Attitude

Attitude is the difference between getting somewhere or being stuck in reverse.

If you think, ‘I can do this’, the same task will be easier than thinking this is too hard, ‘I can’t do this’.

Perseverance

Someone who has the ‘fight’ in them could win over someone who has the skill without the attitude. Someone who keeps getting up after they fall, with the same or more enthusiasm and determination can learn the skill, but someone with the skill may not have the perseverance to succeed.

Consistency

Being consistent over a long period of time shows that it’s not beginners luck, nor is it success during the excitement of a new phase, being consistent shows that a person is serious about what they are doing, and see the value in doing it enough to impact their lives.

Understanding

Striving to understand ourselves, how we operate mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually, and how we understand and interact with others is always changing, someone who is self-aware of their strengths, weaknesses, goals and progress is more likely to get more out of their lives.

Hard Work

Sometimes it’s the stress of having to do something that tires us more, than actually doing it. Work can be hard work, or hard-work.

Purpose

When life gets blurry, it’s always best to have a purpose, or a self-mission statement that will remind you of what you want and why you want it.
